Brett is a fully qualified stone mason with over 20 years experience. His passion for stone masonry led him to establish The Marble Workshop in 2002 and through his dedication, hard work and knowledge on all types of stone has developed the business into one of the most reputable stone fabricators in the South East.

Over the years the company has undertaken a diverse range of projects which have included working on well-known landmarks and household names, as well as with architects, designers and developers. Brett has built his business on quality and getting it right first time. Brett thoroughly enjoys his work and is always happy to provide advice and consultation on project requirements.

Lynne Shah
Lynne ShahBusiness Manager
Lynne is a senior member of staff who has been with The Marble Workshop from its very beginning. With over 15 years experience she is responsible for managing office staff and overseeing the day to day management of the business activities which include , Sales, Order Processing, Accounts and HR Lynne is a friendly and supportive member of staff who is able to respond efficiently and effectively to customers’ needs.

Lynne says: “I have been very privileged to have been part of The Marble Workshop from the outset, working alongside Brett, and developing the company into the successful business it is today.”

Tim Woods
Tim Woods Production
Tim has worked alongside Brett for over 15 years, learning all aspects of the industry and his knowledge is now invaluable. He is responsible for the smooth running of operations, health and safety, staff welfare and overseeing the fabrication of our products from start to finish; problem solving and production planning are his greatest strengths.

Tim organises and instructs all fabrication and fitting staff on a daily basis to ensure we meet our customer’s high expectations.

Tim Says: “Being involved with the business from the start gives me an enormous sense of achievement. It is really rewarding to see our finished products leave the factory and be installed on site to the highest standard.”

Olivia Keeping
Olivia KeepingOperations Manager
Livvy has over 10 years’ experience in Project Management and is a key member of staff at The Marble Workshop. Her responsibilities include managing projects from inception to completion. Foremost, she is in charge of editing the daily drawings from our laser templaters, using state of the art LT software. The edited drawings are then sent for client approval, and following this, to our factory for production; where your chosen stone is transformed into beautiful finished pieces for your kitchen or bathroom.

As well as efficiently managing the production of the stone, Livvy is also responsible for scheduling surveys and installs on a daily basis.

Livvy Says: “I thoroughly enjoy working at the Marble Workshop, each day presents a different challenge and working with such a great team of people makes each day enjoyable. The daily task of scheduling surveys and installs is challenging, yet rewarding.”

Lauren Hemmerdinger
Lauren Hemmerdinger Senior Sales and Operations Assistant
Lauren is an essential member of our team, responsible for pricing large contracts and bathroom requirements for all trade and retail customers. Lauren is always managing a variety of different ongoing projects, as well as focusing on developing and helping to secure sales for the business. Due to Lauren’s outstanding organizational skills, she is also in charge of booking and scheduling the templating of all our jobs.

Having an extensive knowledge of stone, combined with an excellent eye for design, Lauren is able to assist you in choosing the most suitable stone for your requirements.

Lauren Says: “I love working at the Marble Workshop because every job I complete is unique, whether it is a big project or small kitchen, I always feel challenged and seeing customers happy brings me great satisfaction.”

Tasha Hallett
Tasha HallettSales Administrator
Tasha is the latest member of The Marble Workshop Team with prior experience in marketing and sales. Tasha is responsible for the quoting of trade and retail kitchen plans and is always ready to assist customers with their day to day requirements and queries. With the growing number of products in our range, Tasha has a vast knowledge of each brand and is therefore able to advise customers on the best possible choice for their specific requirements.

Tasha is hard working and a great asset to the sales team, as she consistently accommodates customers with a friendly charm.

Tasha says: “I am passionate about the work I do and I love personally interacting with customers to make their dream kitchens a reality.”

Sara Whild
Sara WhildSales Rep
Sara’s role is to showcase and market The Marble Workshop’s products and services to other businesses, organisations and developers, in order to build and maintain strong customer relationships. On a daily basis, she works to generate sales leads and provides the information needed to grow and improve the company through client feedback.

Sara’s prior work with stone, allied with her excellent customer service skills, makes her a great representative for The Marble Workshop.

Sara says: “I have great pride in my job as I feel like I am promoting an astounding company that provides excellent service for their clients. I also enjoy hearing all the positive customer feedback and aiding the company’s growth.”

Victoria Nish
Victoria NishContracts and Sales Manager
Victoria is responsible for pricing large contracts and bathroom requirements for all trade and retail customers. Victoria is always managing a number of projects which are ongoing and is also focussing on developing and helping to secure sales for the business.

With an enviable track record in business development and securing sales, Victoria is an asset to the business. She is a cheerful character, very meticulous with strong attention to detail and a pleasure to work with.

Victoria says: “I am passionate about the work that I do and enjoy the personal interaction that I have with new and longstanding customers. Tendering and being awarded contracts makes me feel very proud. I enjoy being part of our friendly team.”

And to complete the family there’s Cassie and Kaiser, a lovable pair of hairy individuals who welcome all and sundry with a friendly nuzzle with rather wet black noses. Not many companies employ large German Shepherds to collect their debts and fortunately they’re normally not required to do anything more threatening than loll around, wag their tails and look relaxed and content. At the end of the day they are the soppiest office rugs and will never make thugs!
